Planning for Improvement

The Getting to Great Survey will be available to complete online beginning February 15, 2010. The last day the survey can be completed is March 12, 2010. The survey is short and takes no more than 5 minutes to complete. The input of parents/guardians is extremely valuable and we encourage you to take the time to complete the online survey on the HRSB website. The data received from the Getting to Great Surveys will be used in the Planning for Improvement process for Ridgecliff.

There will not be a confirmation code at the end of the parent/guardian survey this year; however parents are able to print off the last page of the survey to indicate completion. This portion must be returned to the teacher.

Parent/guardians who complete the survey off site must select their child’s school from a drop down menu, there will be a confirmation of school selection at the end of the survey. If parents need access to a computer to complete the survey, they can contact the school to make arrangements for a time to come to the school to use a computer for the survey.

A comment box has been added at the end of both the teacher and parent/guardian surveys.

There will be a prize for the class at each grade level with the highest percentage of confirmed parent/guardian surveys completed (at least 50% completion rate necessary to be eligible for class prize).
